Description: This position is responsible for overseeing the overall working order of all the resort rental units within contractual guidelines as defined by the Senior Property Manager and/or Housekeeping Manager/ Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions: Maintain all rental units in proper working order as defined by the Senior Property Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.  Report all safety issues and secure all locations for safety.  Ensure safety upon all inspections and/or evaluations.  Assist in inspecting quality and cleanliness of all the rental units of a world class resort.  Change a/c filters, maintain proper working order of lights, batteries, interior dcor.  Conduct minor repairs as needed.  Maintain proper billing of all work orders associated with daily task as well as all check lists and or reports.  Reinsert window screens as needed.  Adjust sliding screen doors as needed.  Tighten all dresser knobs and closet, cabinet and door knobs.  Lube locks and hinges.  Re-hang pictures if needed. Move any furniture out of place back to proper location on arrivals and departures as needed.  Reset GFI or circuit breakers as requested.  Replace dimmer knobs, outlet covers, light covers etc.  Remove foreign objects form garbage disposal, reset as needed.  Deal with minor pluming issues and repairs associated with toilets, sinks, faucets.  Ensure the integrity of every rental unit, addressing issues in a timely manner.

Assist in the management of the check-in and checkout communication process with the front desk through effective management analysis. Assist with the maintenance, upkeep, of accommodations vehicles.  Conduct annual inspections of all rental units with documented quality check list. 

Oversee special projects as requested and/or needed by the Senior Property Manager/ Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Meet outside contractors, Deliver supplies to locations as needed.

Requirements: Must be well organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks and meet appropriate deadlines.  Must have some Microsoft Excel knowledge.  Must have some general IT knowledge.  Must have two years historical work experience in a maintenance related field.  Resort environment or private home/villa repairs a plus.  Must be able to communicate orally with team members, co-workers, employees, contractors, and vendors to obtain and provide useful information.  Work in various conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes, indoors or outdoors to complete work assignments.  Learn quickly and retain knowledge in order to acquire additional skills and maintain technical competencies.
